Described as using sympathetic resonances with subtle energy fields, the Q-Link and devices like it have attracted the scorn of the sceptics—but an independent scientific study has discovered they really do reduce stress levels.
It significantly reduces stress levels, which, in turn, could help improve general well-being and levels of performance, a study by the Institute for Frontier Science in the US has concluded.
Researcher Beverley Rubik tested the resonances from a 'quantum technology' device called the ONE08 on a group of 20 volunteers, have of whom were given a sham version. As the study was double-blinded, none of the participants knew if they were using the real Q-Link resonances or fake ones.
Their heart rates were monitored before, and while, they were exposed to Q-Link resonances—or the sham—for 35 minutes via a smart phone app. The Q-Link group had a 30 per cent reduction in heart rate and nervous system measures that are an indicator of stress levels.
The ONE08 has been developed by the people behind the Q-Link. It's available as a smart phone app.
