Rules for tobacco tracking & tracing system adopted today
These rules clarify the measures that EU countries and economic operators need to enact to put in place the EU-wide tracking and tracing system for tobacco products foreseen under the Tobacco Products Directive (2014/40/EU), which aims to fight illicit tobacco trade (articles 15 and 16).
